GENIUS Hack to Help Ankle Strap Heels Fit Better
In this tutorial, I’ll show you how to add a hole to a shoe ankle strap.
Is your ankle strap loose? Has it been living a wild and care-free life, just orbiting your ankle and not sitting on it?
All you need to fix it is a needle or safety pin and a bobby pin. Let’s get started.
Tools and materials:
- Safety pin or needle
- Bobby pin
1. Mark the hole with the buckle
Mark where you want the hole to be by firmly pressing the tooth of the buckle into the leather.
2. Create the hole with a pin or needle
Press your pin through that spot.
3. Separate the bobby pin
Grab your bobby pin and separate it with your fingers.
4. Stick the bobby pin through the hole to stretch it
Stick one of the sides through that hole. Wiggle it around a little to stretch out the hole.
5. Repeat
Repeat on the other shoe.
