DIY Disco Heels Perfect for Beyonce's Concert
If you’re looking for a fun, fashion project, check out these DIY disco heels. They’d be perfect for a Beyonce concert or any fun night out. Let’s get started!
Disclaimer: The DIY Butterfly accessory is shown is in a different tutorial. However, these shoes would still look super cute without!
Tools and materials:
- Black platform sandals
- Adhesive disco mirror tiles
- Sand paper
- Glue
- Rhinestone applicator tool
- Rhinestone trim
1. Sand
For extra hold, sand the sections of the shoes where you want to apply the disco mirror tiles.
2. Add glue and disco tiles
Although the disco ball tiles have adhesive, add glue directly to your first section that you want to cover. This will ensure a long-lasting hold.
Press on the disco tiles directly after the glue.
Continue with the other sections.
Use a rhinestone applicator tool to pick up individual squares when filling in small sections.
Sometimes I break the tiles in half when the space is extra small.
3. Add rhinestones
Line the sole and straps with rhinestone trim on glue.
4. Decorate the heels
Add glue and individual strips of disco ball tiles to cover the heels.
5. Add to the ankle strap
Add disco tiles lined with rhinestones to the ankle strap.
6. Fill in with more rhinestones
Add more rhinestones wherever you feel like it!
I added rhinestone trim to the butterflies to fully tie them in.
