These Bloody Heels Are so Easy to DIY and PERFECT for Halloween
Here, I will show you how to create a pair of blood-drip heels. These heels are so easy to DIY and are perfect for Halloween.
If you want to get dressed up but don’t want your costume to be too overt and in-your-face, these shoes are right on theme yet stylishly subtle as well.
Let’s jump in!
Tools and materials:
- Black heels
- Glue gun
- Red paint
- Paintbrush
- Red rhinestones
- Rhinestone applicator
1. Apply glue
Take your glue gun and apply glue all the way around the rim of the shoes. You want the glue to drip down like shown above.
It also looks good for the drips to be of varying lengths, with some longer and some shorter.
Once applied, wait for the glue to dry and harden.
2. Paint red
The glue will turn white when it has dried. Proceed to take a fine brush and paint the glue drops red.
3. Apply second coat
When the paint has dried, go in with a second coat to make the color more potent.
4. Apply rhinestones
Pick up the adhesive rhinestones with a rhinestone applicator and apply the rhinestones on top of the red blood drips.
DIY bloody heels
Here are the finished DIY blood drip heels.
The glue gun made really realistic-looking blood drops which we then painted in red. The rhinestones over the top add a touch of glitz.
