4 Cute Brunch Outfit Ideas for Spring
For me, brunch is just another excuse to wear a cute outfit.
So, today, I've put together four brunch outfit ideas for spring and summer.
I'm sure you'll find at least one look you love here, whether your personal style is classic or a bit edgier.
1. Trousers and statement top
This look is based on a colorful pair of trousers and a printed top.
Lilac is definitely a spring color for me, so this outfit is for those ladies who love pastel colors but want a strong look as well.
Because the trousers are fitted, I opted for a looser fitting top in a print that picks up the color of the pants.
The sleeves are very special and combined with the print, make this very much a statement top.
This combo is a relaxed way to put a brunch outfit together that you can easily create with items you have in your closet.
I opted for a pair of low-heeled, open toed mules in the same color as the trousers.
I kept my jewelry clean and simple with plain gold hoop earrings and added a small bag in the background color of the top.
2. Blazer and jeans
The color and cut of the blazer make this a much edgier outfit. It's for those ladies who love a trendier piece and bright colors.
Personally I love this look and I would certainly wear it myself.
The blazer has a cut out detail around the waistline so I had to pair it with low rise or mid-rise jeans.
The color is perfect for spring or summer brunch outfit ideas and cutouts are really trending this season.
I added a white camisole under the blazer, but if you're bold enough you can get away with wearing the blazer on its own.
I love white jeans for spring and summer, they can be styled in so many different ways. In this case they really make the blazer pop.
I also used a little trick of mine to shorten the sleeves, which were a bit too long for me.
Put a hair tie over each sleeve and push it up towards the elbow, then fold the blazer sleeve over it.
Don't make it too uniform and it will look very natural.
For shoes I opted for transparent sandals with a clear heel, to keep the emphasis on the blazer.
I accessorized with a pair of statement gold earrings and pulled my hair back to show them off.
I added a small bag in the same color as the blazer.
3. Dress
The third outfit I'm styling for you is a brightly colored dress.
Dresses are great for a quick outfit because 90% of the look is already done and all you have to do is accessorize it.
This dress is a relaxed, comfortable style that's flattering on all shapes. It's super flowy and the bold color makes it really special.
I chose the same shoes as for the last look, because they go with so many outfits.
I added a different pair of statement earrings and a small wicker bag to really bring out the spring and summer vibes.
4. Top and skirt
The last outfit I'm styling for you today is definitely more on the summer side.
Denim skirts in all lengths are a huge trend this season and I picked a pleated skirt in a mini length.
It's a skirt you can pair with any top and create so many different styles of outfit, from super casual to smart.
I like to offset a short skirt with a more covered up top. The top I chose today is a cropped square neck blouse with long sleeves.
The gladiator style flat sandals in white add a summery punch and elevate the outfit out of the ordinary.
I kept the jewelry super simple with my gold hoop earrings.
This time, it's the bag that makes the big statement. It's a squared geometric style bag in a brown marbleized finish and has a beaded handle.
It's a very unusual and striking piece that's sure to make your brunch outfit stand out.
