Step-by-step Curly Hair Routine
Here, I am going to show you my step-by-step curly hair routine.
This will be especially helpful for you if you struggle with dryness, as I’m going to show you how to keep your hair moisturized throughout the cold season.
Tools and materials:
- Shampoo
- Conditioner
- Moisturizing conditioner
- Brush
- Hair mask
- Shower cap
- Leave-in conditioner
- Hair net
- Microfiber towel
- Defining gel
- Diffuser
1. Apply shampoo
Start your hair routine by applying a light cleanser shampoo. You want to mostly concentrate it on your scalp.
2. Apply conditioner
Then, go in with a moisturizing conditioner that is nice and smooth.
3. Detangle hair
Use a brush to help you detangle your hair. Proceed to rinse out the conditioner.
4. Apply moisturizing conditioner
Now, apply a deep treatment moisturizing conditioner.
Apply a generous amount all over your hair and try to really work it into your hair shaft.
5. Cover hair
Cover your hair with a shower cap and leave it on for 10 minutes.
Once that time has passed, rinse the mask off.
6. Apply hair mask
Tip your head upside down and apply a leave-in hair mask. Scrunch it into the length of your hair.
7. Apply leave-in conditioner
Next, apply a leave-in conditioner and, once again, scrunch it into your hair.
8. Put hair in net
Once you have gotten rid of the majority of water in your hair, put your hair into a hair net.
9. Scrunch hair with towel
After leaving the hair net on for a while, remove it and scrunch your hair with a microfiber towel.
Make sure to get rid of all the excess water and excess product that will weigh your hair down if you leave it in
10. Apply defining gel
Next, apply a generous amount of defining gel.
11. Diffuse hair
The final step is to diffuse your hair.
