Upgrade Any Basic Tee With This DIY
I’m so excited to show you guys how to upgrade any basic tee with this DIY.
Go from simple to sensational in just a few simple steps!
This is a great project to get your creative juices flowing while adding a new piece to your wardrobe.
Tools and materials:
- Ribbon (long enough to tie around your bust)
- Fabric flowers (10 - 20 depending on their size)
- Scissors
- Needle and thread/hot glue gun/fabric glue
1. Set it up
Take a basic tee and place your ribbon centered along the breast line and pin it in place just on the front of the shirt.
Now, put your fabric flowers in bikini-shaped clusters over each breast.
Make sure you’re happy with the placement and then pin them in place.
2. Attach decorations
Depending on what you have available to you, either sew, use a hot glue gun, or fabric glue to attach the embellishments to the shirt.
3. Tie it all together
Put the shirt on and tie the ribbon at the back. You’ve just created a gorgeous faux flower bra on your basic boring tee.

This is such a great way to add some flare to your t-shirts. You can get creative with different colors if you want, or just do white on white for a more understated look.
