This Fun Hairstyle is PERFECT for Summer Festivals
In this hair tutorial, I’m going to show you a fun hairstyle that is perfect for summer festivals.
If you’re looking for something gorgeous and unique with a bit of pizazz, it ticks all of those boxes!
Tools and materials:
- Chain
- Hair elastic
- Hair band
- Bobby pins
1. Divide hair
First, tie up the top section of your hair and divide the bottom part into two.
2. Loop a chain
Then loop a chain or some sort of beaded band around a hair elastic. Do this twice.
3. Create pigtails
Tie the elastics to the bottom sections of your hair to create pigtails.
4. Braid pigtails
Now braid the two pigtails and tie them at the ends with an elastic.
Then gently pull on the hair of the braids to make them more voluminous.
5. Tie high pigtails
Release the hair that is tied up on the top of your head and tie two high pigtails.
6. Wrap hair
Divide each pigtail in two and wrap the pieces around one another.
7. Create buns
Next, wrap your hair around and around the hair tie to conceal it.
Once you reach the end of your hair, pin the bottom in place with a bobby pin. Repeat on the other side.
8. Drape the braids
Lastly, bring the bottom braids up and drape them around the buns.

Here is the finished look, and my goodness, doesn’t it look spectacular!
There is so much going on. We have the decorative braids with the chain at the bottom that are then brought up and draped around the gorgeous twisted buns on the top of my head.
