This is Easier Than Braids and Looks Just as Good!

This hairstyle is so cute and so easy to do but I will warn, you'll need quite a few small rubber bands (I use 13 but you can use a few less or more depending on how long your hair is).

I love sharing hair tutorials. I am new to Upstyle and excited to post tutorials here but if you’re eager for more you can find me on my other social media pages:

Start by sectioning off a small front portion of hair, this hairstyle is symmetrical so whatever you grab from the left you'll also grab from the right.

Split the section of hair you grabbed into two halves a top and bottom. Tie the top in a rubber band then include that one in the bottom rubber band.

The second rubber band should include all of the hair on one side.

Keep adding rubber bands going all the way down.

Depending on how long your hair is will determine how many rubber bands you should add.

Here are both sides together

Now slightly pull each little section of hair creating a small bubble of hair

Here's another one.

Now tie the two strands together at the bottom and flip them over your head.

Here's the finished look!

Thank you! I appreciate that you chose rubber bands that do not match your hair color so we can easily see what you did. Awesome!
