I want to show you some pieces I picked up that make perfect holiday looks. You can wear these looks to any event or gathering.

So, if you're wondering what to wear to a New Year's Eve party or family dinner, I hope you'll get some holiday outfit ideas from this collection.

Maybe they'll inspire you to look at items you already own in a new way, too!

Houndstooth dress outfit

1. Houndstooth dress

The first item I picked was this houndstooth dress. It has a V neck, slightly puffed shoulders and ruching at the back and front.

I chose it because it's not a traditional Christmas look but you can style it with Christmas colors if you prefer.

It also works with heels and a glam bag, or over-the-knee boots for a warmer outfit.

Blouse and skirt outfit

2. Blouse and skirt

Next up is this red Spandex skirt, with a high waistline.

I paired it with a black silky blouse I already had, but for this look I tied it as a crop top and tucked it in the collar.

I added heels and a smart bag for what I think is a really cute, more dressy Christmas outfit.

Crop top and pants outfit

3. Crop top and pants

My third look is houndstooth inspired again. T

his top is more like a bustier or camisole design. It's cropped, it does have adjustable straps but there's no zipper or other opening so you have to either step into it or pull it over your head.

I combined it with black leather pants that have a paper-bag style waist and black boots. I threw a long black duster over it for warmth and to pull the look together.

Red jeans and top outfit

4. Red jeans and top

The last outfit is these red denim jeans that feature a flared leg and that I paired with a white turtleneck top.

The pants do have a few rips in the leg, but not too many. They're somewhat stretchy and have 2 back pockets and a frayed bottom edge.

I added nude heels and a matching bag for a festive and comfortable holiday look.

These Christmas outfit ideas are ideal for when you want to look cute but don't want to get too glammed-up.

I hope you enjoyed my fun but casual Christmas outfits look-book.

Even if you don't have the exact same items in your closet, try combining what you do have in different ways for some new, festive looks.
