3 Easy Bow Hairstyles 🎀
I don’t know about you, but I love wearing ribbons in my hair.
In this hairstyling tutorial, I’m going to show you three cute looks that you can create using ribbons.
Grab some thick ribbons and some thin ribbons, and let’s begin!

Tools and materials:
- Hair ties
- Hair elastics
- Thick ribbon
- Thin ribbon
Thick wrapped ribbon
1. Tie ponytail
Start by tying your hair into a ponytail.
2. Place ribbon under ponytail
Take a large piece of thick ribbon and place the center of it under your ponytail.
3. Cross ribbon over
Cross the two sides of the ribbon over.
4. Continue to cross ribbon over
Bring the two sides of the ribbon under your hair, then back up to the top again and cross them over.
Continue this process around four more times.
5. Tie bow
Complete the look by tying a bow.
Here is the completed look! I love how the bow is really thick from being wrapped around my ponytail multiple times.
Bubble pigtails with bows
1. Tie pigtails
Start by tying your hair into pigtails.
2. Add another elastic
Add a second elastic an inch or so below the first one.
Then, fan your hair out to make it more voluminous.
3. Repeat
Proceed to do this again.
4. Tie other pigtail
Do the same thing on the other side of your head, ensuring that the two sides look symmetrical.
5. Add small bows
The final step is to tie small bows over all of the hair elastics.
Here is the finished look - isn’t it adorable? The thin little bows are so cute!
Cute bow braids
1. Separate hair
Start by taking a small section of hair at the top of your head on one side.
2. Braid hair
Proceed to braid the top two-thirds of that section of hair and then tie it with a hair tie at the bottom.
3. Repeat
Now, repeat on the other side of your head.
4. Add bows
Finish by adding small bows around the two hair elastics.
Here is the finished look! I love how I essentially have my hair down, but the two braids with bows add a bit of detail and interest.
