Here are 3 really easy styles for those lazy days.

These are great for when you want to get out of the door as quickly as possible but you still want your hair to look as if you spent time on it.

Let's get started!

Tools and materials:

  • 1 thick hair tie
  • 1 invisible hair tie
  • Claw clip
Tying hair back

1. Braid it

Draw your hair into a low ponytail and wrap a thick elastic or hair tie around it.

Braiding

Braid your hair and secure it with a thinner hair tie.

Pull the braids widthways so they look full and casual.

2. Twist it

Hold your hair in a low ponytail at the base of your head and twist the length of your hair around itself.

Twisting hair

Continue twisting your hair with both hands. Guide the twist against the back of your head.

Twisting hair

Shape the last few inches of your hair into a loop and hold it against your head.

Twisted claw clip hairstyle

Grab your claw clip and clip it over the twist.

Now you have a style that looks like a classic chignon with a modern “twist” to it.

Tying ponytail

3. Wrap it

Put your hair into a ponytail and wrap a thick hair tie around it twice.

Twisting hair elastic

Twist the second elastic loop into a figure of eight.

Pulling hair through loop

Grab your ponytail through the loop, a few inches away from the elastic.

Pull your hair part way through the loop, leaving a tail.

Poofing hair

Poof out the loop of hair you pulled through the elastic.

Wrapping hair

Wrap the tail of hair over the elastic and tuck the end in underneath.

Wrapped bun hairstyle

There’s a professional-looking fake bun that took less than two minutes to fix.
