Make an Adorable, No-sew, Braided Headband

Follow my step-by-step tutorial and learn how to make the cutest braided headbands! The best part is you don’t even need a sewing machine, just grab some stretchy fabric and you are good to go! Tools and Materials:
- Stretchy fabric

Before you get started on creating this adorable headband it’s important to choose a stretchy fabric! I chose to upcycle this old grey shirt I had sitting in my closet. I love that these headbands can be made with any color or fabric design, as long as it is stretchy! I started by cutting a strip of fabric off the bottom of my shirt. My strip came to about 63 inches long.
I folded my fabric strip to get 3 long pieces. I then placed the ends of the pieces under a weight and started braiding.
Once my gorgeous braid was complete, I twisted the folded piece of fabric at the end of the strip and threaded the loose piece through. I repeated this a few times until I had made a small knot. I then did the same on the end that had been under the weight.
All I had left to do was tie the two ends of the braid together and I was left with a perfect braided headband!
