Are you looking for a fun Christmas accessory to get you in the festive mood?

Here, I’m going to show you the perfect Christmas accessory to DIY. It’s super easy to make and costs next to nothing. Let’s get started!

Tools and materials:

  • Plastic headband
  • Fake holly
  • Fake carnations
  • Scissors
  • Glue gun
Fake holly

1. Get materials ready

First, head on down to your local dollar store and grab yourself a plastic headband, some fake holly and some fake carnations.

Removing stems

2. Remove stems

If your holly is on long stems, you'll want to remove the stems.

You also want to cut them to size, so if your holly has come in a large bunch, cut them to separate the pieces.

Gluing

3. Apply glue

Apply glue to the decorations.

Sticking to headband

4. Stick to headband

Now for the fun part - you can stick them to the headband however you want.

If you’re not sure what design would look best, you can lay them on the headband before applying the glue and play around with it until you get the design that you want.

Then wait for the glue to dry and you’re done!
