Why would you want to cut the end off a visor?

This is brilliant. I’m going to show you a fun and easy project that will elevate your boring, sporty visor into a truly unique fashion statement piece.

Tools and materials:

  • Visor
  • 2 pieces of ribbon 18 inches long
  • Scissors
  • E6000 glue
Buying visor

1. Prep

If you don’t have a visor, pick up a cheap one and get some matching ribbon.

You will also need some scissors and strong glue. I like to use E6000.

Cutting ends

2. Cut and glue

Cut the ends off the back of the visor. We’re going to be making a new closure.

Gluing

Use your strong glue and attach the ends of the ribbons to the ends of the visor.

Then leave it to dry so the ribbons dry securely to the visor.

Bow

3. Make a bow

Now that your new visor is dry, put it on and use the ribbons to tie it securely to your head.

Tie the ribbon off with a bow for a feminine touch.

How adorable is this renewed visor? I love how this takes something sporty and turns it into something fashionable and feminine.

You shouldn’t have to sacrifice style to keep the sun out of your eyes.

Leave me a comment and let me know what you think of this fun project.
