DIY to Combine That Coastal Grandma and Cowgirl Vibes
This DIY combines coastal grandma with cowgirl vibes.
It’s an easy, cheap and fun way to personalize your look. This is your sign to make beaded hat bands this summer!
Tools and materials:
- Clear bead cord
- Scissors
- Assorted small beads (ocean colors)
- Cowgirl hat
1. Measure, cut and knot your cord
Wrap a clear cord around your cowgirl hat to check the length you’ll need and then cut it to be slightly longer.
2. Add beads
Knot the end of the cord and add beads. Choose a random assortment of beachy/ocean-colored beads or follow a set pattern.
3. Tie the ends
Once you get close to the end, leave enough cord to be able to tie the ends together. Then cut off any excess.
Then lay the DIY beaded hat band over your cowgirl hat!
