How to Tie a Square Headscarf in 3 Trendy Ways
A silk head scarf looks beautiful and can be very functional as well.
In this tutorial, I will show you three different ways to wear a square silk scarf on your head, with different square scarf tying ideas. Let's get started.
Tools and materials:
- 35-inch square head scarf
Start with a 35-inch square head scarf, and fold it into a triangle, with the right side facing out.
1. Russian head scarf style
Center the scarf on top of your head.
Cross the ends of the scarf at your neck.
Wrap the ends of the scarf around the back of your neck and then bring them back to the front.
Tie the ends of the scarf in a bow at the side of your neck.
This pretty style will keep all your hair tucked in place.
2. Rock and roll style
With your scarf in a triangle, fold the long side and the point of the triangle twice, until they meet in the center.
Then, fold the scarf in half, lengthwise.
Place the now rectangular scarf across the top of your head at your forehead, and tie the ends together at the back of your head.
This style will also keep your hair from blowing around too much, but with an edgy, rock-and-roll look!
3. Retro style
Center your triangular scarf over the top of your head, but this time, with the point facing the front.
Bring the ends of the scarf up and tie them at the top of your head.
Now, wrap the ends down to the back of your head, and tie them again.
Fold the front triangle up and back.
Twist the triangle into a rope-like shape.
And tuck the end into the front roll of the scarf.
This retro scarf look will also keep your hair in place!

I have some more ideas for you!..years ago I came across a video on u-tube from a lady Betsy Ramsey , who shows how to make scarf jewelry using long necklaces. She is selling her jewelry line , but you could use any long chains/ beads to do the same...A fabulous look!
