Style 1: Tucked-in

1. Tie the scarf around your neck

Start with a small scarf. Fold the scarf into a triangle and tie the ends behind your neck.

2. Tuck the scarf into your shirt

Tuck the scarf into your shirt and collar, so it appears almost like a turtleneck.

I wear my scarf this way all of the time.

A little tip: if you have a dark scarf and a white shirt, add a dark jacket. See the difference? This works every time!

Style 2: Neck collar

For this look, we’re going to make a band. You can fold it two different ways, depending on which side you want facing up.

First method

Style 2: Neck collar

1. Fold opposite edges to the middle

Take one corner and fold it in towards the middle of the scarf. Then, take the opposite corner and fold it over top of the first one.

Style 2: Neck collar

2. Fold in to create the band

Begin folding in from one straight edge until there is one fold left.

Then, fold the final edge over the top of the previous folds to create the band.

This style of fold gives you arrow ends and has a clean end.

2. Fold into a band

Fold up from the longest end to finish the band.

This style has more of an unclean end but has the flagged band.

3. Tie in the back

The first way to wear it is to just tie it around your neck like a collar.

With this folded method, you can also show off a little corner beneath the collar for added detail.

4. Tie in the front

The second way to wear it is to tie it in the front instead of the back using a double knot and touch the ends up.

You can also wear it to the side.
