Ribbed knit and midi styles are so in! So what about when you're curvy and want to style a ribbed knit midi dress? I threw together 4 ways for you to style one! You can visit my social media profiles for links to all items.

A midi dress is so cute on it's own! If you choose one with embellishments like buttons or snaps down the middle like mine, you draw the eyes inwards toward the center of your body. Vertical ribbing also elongates you. Choose a dress with an inner lining to keep your belly button from showing through.

This look is cute for all body types- even bump friendly! Tying a button down shirt (plan or patterned) at your thinnest part draws attention to the areas you want eyes drawn to. It adds and extra layer as well as breaks up your shape a bit. Pair it with wedges, white sneakers, mules or sandals to determine the vibe you're going for!

A sweet and casual look is a tight dress with a jean jacket over top. I really like pairing a boxier jacket with a tight dress. The tight dress underneath gives your shape and the jacket draws attention to your amazing shape underneath.

The last way I styled this ribbed midi dress is tying a graphic tee at the thinnest part of my body. Again, it draws eyes to areas I want to highlight and draws attention away from areas I don't want to highlight (belly, shoulders in spaghetti straps, etc). This look is so cute and would look great with sneakers or platform sandals, too!
