I’ve Never Met a Stripe I Did Not Like
There is something about a stripe top that makes it universally liked. I am yet to find a striped top, jumper or T-shirt that I did not like.
There are so many striped tops on the market and they always seen in all the shops, year after year. Many various styles and colour combinations are available. I do prefer to stick to the traditional black or navy. However if you find these a bit too bland and traditional, then there are other colour options such as pinks and greens.
A striped tee is a wardrobe basic and in my opinion, should be part of any capsule wardrobe. The most classic way to style a striped t shirt is with a pair of jeans and a rain mac/trench coat. This is such a classic yet so easy to put together look. I love how effortless, stylish and practical the stripe tee is.
Just like a striped t shirt, a striped knitted jumper or cardigan is a fashion staple for the colder months. It adds a chic edge to an otherwise plain knitted item.
Stripes rarely go out of style, but for the past two years, striped jumpers have been having a real moment. And one of the main reasons why stripes remain so popular is that you don’t need to spend a lot to make them look expensive. Due to the huge influx of stripes across both the high street and designer brands you can achieve the striped look to suit your budget.
