You can make your loose dress fit better by doing this hack I’m going to show you.
This is perfect for oversized sleeveless strappy dresses. If you see a cute dress at a thrift store but it’s too big, buy it and use this trick.
Tools and materials:
- Oversized sleeveless dress
1. Lower, twist, and wrap
Pull down the straps from your shoulders so the top of the dress is hanging around your waist.
Turn the dress sideways.
Then put your arms through one of the straps, pulling it over your head and shoulders, and bringing it back down to the waist.
2. Halter top hack
Turn the dress around your waist until the other strap is in front.
Now pull that strap over your head so that it rests at the back of your neck.
3. Finishing touches
Make any adjustments necessary so the dress sits nicely on your body.

You just made a brand new, perfectly fit halter top dress. It’s that easy.
