Re-Wearing Holiday Dresses for Valentine’s Day.

3 Materials

Like many of you may be feeling, Christmas came and went entirely too quickly this year. While I got to wear all my festive outfits, I still don’t feel satisfied enough. So I’ve pivoted my Christmas and holiday wardrobe to a Valentine’s Day wardrobe. Dresses that were deemed only “for the holidays” can now be worn for Valentine’s Day! I picked up these two Gal Meets Glam dresses from Poshmark for the holiday season, but they’re just as perfect for February too.

So how do you easily rewear those holiday dresses for Valentine’s Day? Simple. All you need is the right accessories. One of my favorite bags to use this time of year is this personalized clutch that I DIY’d a few years ago. Adding it to any outfit makes it an instant Valentine’s classic.

I’ve loved wearing this burgundy tweed dress to the office the past couple months, and why stop after the holiday season? Add heart earrings for another simple way to make any outfit (not just a holiday outfit) work for Valentine’s Day.

Maybe your holiday dresses weren’t in shades of red. And even then that’s ok. Have holiday dresses in green? March and St. Patrick’s Day is just around the corner too! And shortly after that, blue is my go-to for spring.

And if dresses aren't your thing and you own some red holiday tartan, don't think you can't wear that now too! Just pair your tartan with some pink and you're good to go for Valentine's Day.
