Are you looking for some summer date night outfits? In this lookbook, I'm going to show you how to style an outfit for a date night.

Going out for a date night can mean dressing up all fancy or keeping it chilled and relaxed.

Here, I’m going to show you outfits for both situations, so no matter what vibe you’re going for, I have you covered!

Monochrome two-piece

1. Monochrome two-piece

For the first date night outfit, I'm starting off with a two-piece set.

I am a big fan of two-piece sets because you can always mix and match them and wear each piece with other things.

This one is in lilac, and I love this color for the spring and summer. The pants are in a wide-leg style, there are super loose and have a nice fit to them, and the matching top is a sleeveless vest.

The vest is on the oversized side, so it's a little flowy. Underneath it, I’m wearing a tank top in the same lilac color. You can wear the vest open and loose or button it up.

You can also take it up a notch and add a belt, as I have done. I went for a black belt with a gold double buckle which gives this date night outfit even more style.

The belt has created a waistline since the vest was oversized it also added a nice little added accessory to the outfit.

For shoes, I opted for a pair of low-heeled mules in that same beautiful lilac color. If you want to wear heels but find high heels uncomfortable, a pair of kitten heels will work perfectly for you.

I kept the rest of the outfit super simple with a pair of gold hoop earrings and a lilac bag.

Printed dress

2. Printed dress

For my ladies who want to dress up a little bit more, here we have a printed dress in a grid style. I love the white background with the soft, pastel red, blue, and green lines on top of it.

I also love the mermaid-style shape of the dress because it hugs my curves and is very flattering. It has ruching on the side with a drawstring which gives you the option of making the ruching tighter or looser, which will determine how high the dress comes up on the side.

I love that you can play around with this dress and adjust it to make it fit perfectly to your body.

For footwear, I opted for a pair of transparent high heels, which you can never go wrong with because it pairs with absolutely everything.

Printed dress

If you want to add a layer to your spaghetti strap dress, going for a cropped blazer is a stylish option.

I went for one in bright pink, which contrasts nicely with the pale colors of the dress.

A mini bag the same color as the blazer finishes off the look.

Casual outfit

3. Casual

For this next date night outfit, I’m keeping things more casual. I’ve paired a pair of white jeans with a bright, bold red top.

You can never go wrong with a pair of white jeans in the summer, they’re a great canvas that you can pair with any top, and this red top really stands out against the jeans.

The top has a little bit of ruffle detail on the bottom as well as balloon-style sleeves. This is a great top when you want to dress up but don't want to do too much.

I accessorized with a pair of statement earrings that have colorful gems on them. They bring some color to the outfit and help to dress it up a bit.

I kept my shoes super comfy with a pair of flat red sandals. A small white bag with a gold handle completes the look.

Tulle skirt outfit

4. Tulle skirt

For the last date night outfit idea, I’m styling a black tulle skirt. I love the movement that this skirt has when I walk, it makes me feel very princessy.

I styled it with a black and white striped top which helps to dress down the skirt, while at the same time, the skirt helps to dress up the top.

I added a black belt to cinch my waist, as well as some gold earrings and hair clips.

For shoes, I’m wearing a pair of black sandals with super comfy block heels. A little red clutch bag is the finishing touch.
