Turn a Winter Blouse Into a Summer Top
This amazing trick will turn a winter blouse into a summer top. I love finding different ways to wear clothes so I can get the most use possible out of them.
It’s a great way to stretch your wardrobe and get the feel of new clothes without spending a dime.
Tools and materials:
- Blouse
- Rubberband
1. Fold and wrap
Hold your blouse at the sleeves, near the shoulders, and let the collar and top section of the shirt fold forward.
Turn the shirt so the front of it faces your body.
Place it against you so one sleeve goes over one shoulder and the other goes under the opposite arm.
2. Tie it all together
Leave the top sleeve hanging over your shoulder and wrap the second sleeve around the back of your body to the opposite side.
Use a large rubber band to tie the sleeve to the shirt at the side.
Spread and arrange the fabric till it looks like a flower.
3. Finishing touches
Take the second sleeve and tuck it around, under, and over the sleeve that’s wrapped around your back.
Tuck and style any loose parts of the shirt hanging in front.
Just like that, you’ve got yourself a gorgeous, asymmetrical wrap-around summer shirt.
