If you love wearing a ball cap but hate how your hair looks limp and flat when you pull it through, this is for you.

A stunning half up hairstyle that works perfectly with a cap. If you have medium to long hair, get ready to be surprised.

Tools and materials:

  • Ball cap
  • Hair tie
  • Claw clip
Putting hair half up

1. Half up

Separate the top center section of your hair and use a hair tie to hold it in a ponytail.

Pull the ponytail through the back of your ball cap.

Bringing hair forward

2. Take it forward

Pull the ponytail forward with one hand, so it lies over the top of the cap.

Adding claw clip

3. Claw clip

Grab a claw clip in your other hand and clip it over the base of the ponytail.

Adding claw clip

Press the sides of the clip to close it tightly over your hair.

Releasing hair

4. Release

Let go of the claw clip and release your ponytail.

Releasing hair

Pull the base of the ponytail out to the sides of your head, to cover the claw clip.

Now you have a beautifully bouncy half up style and your ponytail looks thick and full. And no droopiness!

This style works just as well without the ball cap too. Why not give it a try and tell me what you think?
