Quick and Cute Summer Ponytail Hairstyle Tutorial
In this hair tutorial, I’m going to show you a cure summer ponytail hairstyle that has a gorgeous twist in it.
Follow along as I walk you through the process step-by-step so that you can create this look yourself!
Tools and materials:
- Hair elastics
- Claw clip
1. Tie half ponytail
First, tie your hair into a half ponytail.
2. Cross over hair
Take your hair from either side of your head and cross them over on top of the ponytail.
3. Tie ponytail
Clip your half ponytail on top of your head and then tie the two cross-over sides in a ponytail underneath the clipped-up hair.
4. Let down clipped-up hair
Let down the clipped-up section of hair and tighten the ponytail.

Here is the finished cross-over ponytail look, which is perfect for summer.
This hairstyle was so easy to achieve yet looks gorgeous and is so much more interesting than you’re average ponytail. I hope you’ll give it a try!

you can slow the video down. click on the "settings" icon in the bottom right of video screen (it looks like a flower). A menu will pop up with 3 choices, click on "playback speed". the numbers above "Normal" will give you a slower playback that may help you see the steps better. Note: voices and music will also be slowed down when you do this. Playback will revert to "normal" when you exit out of video.
