Easy Dark Blue and Silver French Tip Nails Tutorial
Recreate these gorgeous, dark blue French tip nails with me. Just follow along with my step-by-step tutorial.
Tools and materials:
- Nail lamp
- Transparent blue/green gel polish
- Silver cat magnetic gel polish
- Magnetic stick
- Top coat
1. Apply transparent gel and cure
Apply a thin layer of transparent gel polish and cure.
2. Apply cat magnetic silver polish
Next, apply silver magnetic polish to the bottom third of the nail.
3. Use a magnetic stick
Next, hover over and around the magnetic polish with a magnetic stick to create the French manicure effect.
This blurs the transition of this polish on the blue base. See the video from 1:20-1:35 to see how I did this.
Perfect the U-shape to be as thin and condensed as you like.
4. Cure, apply topcoat and cure again
When the blue French tip nails have the shape you like, cure them for 60 seconds under the nail lamp.
Then apply a top coat and cure them again.
