In this tutorial, I’m going to show you how to do mirror chrome nails.

These beautiful chrome nails are two-toned, and you can use any color to create a design that works for you. Let’s get started!

Tools and materials:

  • Chrome mirror top coat
  • UV lamp
  • Mirror powder
  • Makeup brushes
  • Top coat
Applying top coat

1. Apply a top coat and cure

For this, you’ll want to use a chrome mirror top coat so you can get that liquid-mirror chrome finish.

Apply it evenly on your nails, and then cure it under a UV lamp.

Applying mirror powder

2. Apply mirror powder to half of the nail

With your first color, use a foam brush to apply the mirror powder to the bottom half of the nail.

For this, I’m using my darkest color which is a deep blue.

Applying mirror powder

3. Apply a lighter mirror powder to the other half of the nail

For the other half of the nail, I’m using a clean brush to apply this beautiful gold.

As you buff the powder on, the surface will get mirror smooth.

Brushing off excess powder

4. Brush off excess powder

Use a fluffy brush to brush off any excess mirror powder.

Applying top coat

5. Apply top coat

Apply a regular top coat to your nails.
