Simple DIY Turmeric Soap Recipe With Rich, Moisturizing Goats Milk
In today’s tutorial, I’m going to show you how to make DIY turmeric soap from scratch. This turmeric bar soap recipe is pretty easy, and it will leave your skin and pores looking better than ever.
Turmeric is packed with great nutritional and healing properties. While many experts advise us to consume it, applying turmeric to your skin is equally favorable. Turmeric helps lighten dark spots and give you naturally glowing skin. Let's get into this soap-making tutorial.
Tools and materials:
- 500 grams goats milk melt and pour soap base
- Turmeric
- Dry chamomile flowers
- Pyrex microwave-friendly jar
- Tablespoon
- Rubbing alcohol
- Gloves
- Soap mold
1. Melt the soap base
Cut your goat's milk soap into pieces. Just a little heads up; the reason I’m using goat’s milk soap in this DIY turmeric soap recipe is that it’s rich in lactic acids and will leave your skin feeling smooth and moisturized.
Pop your pyrex microwave-friendly jar in the microwave in 30-second increments until the soap has completely melted.
2. Homemade turmeric soap recipe
Now, add a tablespoon of dried chamomile flowers. Chamomile is enriched with antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties, and will give your skin a much-needed boost. Stir together
Next, add one teaspoon of turmeric and make sure that you thoroughly mix the contents.
Finally, add a few drops of tea tree oil. This ingredient is great at healing the skin, as well as treating acne and acne scars.
3. Mold the soap
Now, you’ll need a soap mold. Before pouring in the contents, spray some rubbing alcohol on it. Then, carefully pour the DIY turmeric soap ¾ of the way.
Tip: Spray some rubbing alcohol on top of the mixture to get rid of all the bubbles.
Now, set your soap aside for 2-3 hours until it sets and hardens.
