Parting hair

1. Part hair

Start by parting your hair down the center.

Tying one side

2. Tie one side

Tie one side up into a pigtail so that it's out of the way.

Frenching braiding hair

3. French braid hair

On the other side of your head, French braid the top part of your hair.

Tying off braid

4. Tie off braid

When you get to the bottom of your head, don’t continue braiding, but tie it off with a hair-tie.

Pulling on braid

5. Pull on braid

Gently pull on the braid to make it more voluminous.

6. Repeat

Now, repeat this process on the other side of your hair.

Tying ponytail

7. Tie ponytail

Combine the two pigtails together in a ponytail.

Adding scarf

8. Add scarf

The final step is to tie a long scarf around the ponytail.

Ensure that you tie the middle of the scarf around the hair tie so that there is the same amount of the scarf hanging down on each side.

Here is the finished look. I love how the two French braids on either side come together into a ponytail.

The scarf is simply stunning, and I love how it graciously falls down my hair and back.
