This at-home pedicure routine only has two main steps—a foot bath and a mask.

Both of these are easy to do, and you probably have the necessary materials at home! Let’s get into it.

Tools and materials:

  • Lemon
  • Body wash
  • Bristle brush
  • Pumice stone
  • Beetroot powder
  • Curd
Adding lemon

1. Add half a lemon

In a bowl of warm water, squeeze half of a lemon. Leave the peel inside of the water bowl rather than tossing it out.

Adding body wash

2. Add body wash

Add two pumps of your favorite body wash to the bowl.

Swishing

3. Swish

Swish the water around so the lemon juice mixes in thoroughly and the body wash foams up.

Soaking feet

4. Soak your feet

Soak your feet in the lemon bath for 15 minutes.

Rubbing lemon on feet

5. Rub the lemon on your feet

Rub the lemon around on your feet. Lemons are antibacterial, and anti-inflammatory, and contain antioxidants, making them a very effective treatment for your feet!

Scrubbing off dead skin

6. Scrub off dead skin

Use a bristly brush and a pumice stone to scrub off any dead skin still hanging around after the soak.

Scrubbing heel

Don’t forget to get your heel!

Beetroot powder and curd mixture

7. Mix beetroot powder and curd

Mix beetroot powder and curd to create a foot mask that can help with stubborn hyperpigmentation or darkness on your feet.

Applying mask to feet

8. Apply the mask to your feet

Rub the mask all over your feet and rinse after 15 minutes.
