Styling Summer Pieces for Fall
I recently went to H&M searching for some transitional pieces that I can wear now but style for the fall. Found some pretty cute items, but didn’t want to get crazy because the dressing rooms are closed… again 😞. I was able to find a midi/maxi style shirt dress, a cute tank, a dressy top and some AMAZING pants.
This dress also comes in several different colors. What makes this dress perfect right now is how lightweight it is. Totally can be worn in this Texas heat, but also has long sleeve to bring you into fall by adding booties and a jacket.
The satin feeling top is super light and airy. It has a mixture of muted summer colors that can be paired with almost anything. I chose black jean shorts to edge it up some for the heat, but kept it very neutral and adding texture for the fall look.
These pants tho… SO GOOD. I’m kinda in love with them. They feel like a thicker linen material. They are in this pale yellow making it a great transitional piece into the fall. The black ribbed tank is also an H&M find and is such a statement piece while being very casual. For the fall look I added a knit tank and a faux leather jacket in a contrasting color. Love both looks so much.
