How Best to Apply Under-Eye Concealer for Mature Skin

- Under-eye concealer
- Makeup setting spray
- Makeup setting powder
- Makeup sponge
- Large makeup brush
1. Apply concealer
The traditional method for applying under-eye concealer is to dot the concealer under your eye, blend it in with your finger and set it.
This new technique for applying under-eye concealer starts the same way as the old technique. Dot concealer below your eye and pat it out evenly with your finger.
Next, tap out the concealer using a makeup sponge.
2. Apply setting spray
This is the step that makes all the difference - using a makeup setting spray. Spray a bit of the setting spray onto the back of your hand.
Tap your finger into the spray on the back of your hand and gently pat your finger under your eye to apply the spray. Let the setting spray dry for a couple of minutes.
3. Apply setting powder
Tap a little makeup setting powder on a large makeup brush, and then tap off the excess powder. Gently pat the setting powder on under your eye and then use a makeup sponge to once again gently tap out the powder.
How to apply under eye concealer for mature skin
Right away you will see that this new technique makes your makeup appear much smoother below your eye. The real test is how it looks 4 or 5 hours later.
The main difference between the old and new techniques is the use of setting spray. Hours later, the eye on which this new method for applying concealer to mature skin was used is still looking smoother than the eye on which the traditional technique was used.
