Tools and materials:
- Comb
- Hair elastics
1. Prep
Make bouncy waves in your hair or start with straight hair–your choice!
Then make a clean, center part with a comb and pull out 2 face-framing strands in the front.
2. Make a small ponytail
Grab a small section of hair on 1 side of your part and tie a ponytail at your scalp with a hair elastic.
3. Add hair and make a 2nd and then a 3rd section
Use your comb to help you lift another section of hair from that side. Add this hair to the ponytail you already have.
Secure a 2nd hair elastic about an inch or so after the 1st. Pull the tail to tighten it.
Repeat this to make a 3rd section.
4. Make a bubble braid with half of your hair
Grab half of your hair in the back and add elastics a few inches apart, like a bubble braid.
Pull gently at each section for more volume in your bubble braid.
5. Repeat on the other side and add bows
Repeat this entire process with the rest of your hair.
Then add little silk bows to hide the elastics only at the back (not on the top of your head).
