Halloween: DIY Skull Earrings and Bracelet

As you decorate for Halloween, don't forget to decorate yourself! Jewelry is an easy way to accessorize seasonally. Follow along to see what a few supplies from Michaels can do. I build my jewelry supply stash by picking up things as I find them on sale , clearance or of course a maker's favorite thing: coupons!
The Skull charms I used I found on clearance so they may not be avail at every location but Michaels regularly stocks similar ones in their jewelry supplies. The white beads, bead caps, and dangle rhinestone charms are all from Michaels.
Attach the skull bead to the large link with a jump ring. Attach a small charm to the other end of the link, also using a jump ring.
I had the links I used already in my stash. You can use any hoop or similar shaped link. You will need a basic understanding of how to open and close jump rings. You Tube has tons of videos!
For pierced ears, you're done as soon as you attach your link to an earwire.
I'm a "clippie" (I don't have pierced ears) so I use these clip earring findings (Michaels) and use Loctite Super Glue Gel Control to attach a finishing piece on top. You'll need a finding that enables you to attach via a jump ring. Mine are from Shipwreck Beads.
This is super easy! Cut off a length of stretchy cord, longer than your expected final size. This facilitates ease of tying at the end. Clamp one end with a binder clip or clothespin. Starting with a bead cap, string bead cap, white bead, bead cap, small silver ball. Repeat until you are satisfied with the size.
When you're ready to knot, tie a simple knot, dot with superglue, repeat two more times and trim ends.
To finish, add one more skull charm along with a rhinestone dangle using a jump ring.
