Jumping Into June!!

I just finished this great jumpsuit and I'm so excited to share!! Its so comfy as its made in a stretch suiting. Stick around till the end and I'll show you how to style it two ways heels and a chic Navy jacket for a dressed up version or super cute with pumps for chasing round after the kids!!

I snapped this finished make pic in the garden, so warm and comfy, in my turtle neck and pumps!!

I started with 3m of stretch suiting which I thought would be enough for my Blanca flight suit, it was, but only just!!

I did manage to squeeze the pieces out of 3m but it was a squeeze so I'd recommend you buy a bi more especially as this fabric was only 135 cm wide!! I really love the sky blue shade of this stretch suiting and you can find it over at Minerva.com here>

Firstly lets create the back pleats in the bodice, the fabric is folded over and then top stitched in place.

Then the patch pockets are stitched on and were almost ready to assemble the bodice!

The waistband is attached to the back piece.

Now we are attaching the two back legs together.

then the back with the already attached waistband stitched to the back legs with the belt loops attached between. Now we have all the back sections connected together!!

The two bodice sections are stitched to the front legs and were getting there now.

Pockets on!! lets get that zip in and were almost there!!

The zips in and the collar almost is, now you remember we only just had enough fabric? Well I added a contrast to the wrong side of the collar to save a little fabric and to add that pop of colour!
