Side Part Braided Accent Tutorial
In this tutorial, I’ll show you how to do a side-part braided accent hairstyle.
This style is perfect if you’re going to a concert or any other fun event and want to switch up your look. Let’s get into it!
Tools and materials:
- Clips
- Hair ties
- Braid cuffs/charms
1. Part
Part your hair into a side part.
2. Part a section beside the part
Part a section of hair on the right of your side part.
3. Split the section
Split the section into two.
4. Braid the front half
Braid the front half of the split section.
5. Combine the two sections
Combine the braid with the second half of the split section and tie it off.
6. Part a second section
Part another section beside the first one that is roughly the same size.
7. Split and braid the section
Split the section into two again, and braid the front half.
8. Combine the two sections
Combine the braid with the second half of the split section and tie it off.
9. Braid
Braid both of the combined sections.
10. Add embellishments
Add braid cuffs and charms.
