Oh my Goodness I'm fed up of winter clothes, but I just had to make something new to get me through the last days of chilly weather! So here goes, I made a new turtle neck sweater and I'm ready to share all the info with you, where to get the pattern and fabric and how to make it too! Then I'm going to style it up for work and play, so get ready for all the good stuff!!

I'm so happy with my finished make, can you tell from that smile on my face??

So here we go, I've traced off my pattern and I'm all ready to cut my fabric!! The pattern I'm using is one I've made twice before, so I suppose we should call this a TNT, that's tried and tested!! Its the Tilly and the Buttons Freya top and you can grab a copy for yourself here! > Tilly and the Buttons: Stretch Patterns - Make the Freya Sweater and Dress Its actually one of the patterns in Tilly's Stetch book which is just brilliant! The fabric is super snuggly and came from Minerv.com you can grab that here > Mind The MAKER Dante Double Face Sweater Knit Stretch Fabric | 1425254 | Minerva

The first step is to stitch the front to the back bodice at the shoulder seams.

Next were going to add the sleeves, I'm using mini clips here as I prefer those to pins when I'm going to use my over locker! After I've stitched the sleeves on I'm going to add the turtle neck.

Here you can see I've stitched the sleeves on and the neck, and I'm almost finished, just the side seams to complete and the hem to finish then we're going to style it up!!

Yes, all done!! Here it is in all its glory, styled for a casual lunch or shopping in town, here I'm wearing my favourite denim jeans!

But for a smarter outfit I've swapped my denims for some smart black trousers, ready for a day in the office!!

Which outfit do you prefer? I think its denims for me!!
