This Hairstyle Screams Coachella!
This next level, half-up, half-down space buns look is perfect for a party, Coachella or if you’re just feeling extra.
Follow along with this step-by-step tutorial to get the look.
Tools and materials:
- Brush
- Hair elastics
- 2 blue, sparkling faux hair pieces
- Hair gem stamper
1. Make 2 half pigtails
Start off with a center part. Then tie up 2 half pigtails that are evenly spaced, toward the middle of your head.
Then, insert a blue, faux hair piece into the first pigtail.
2. Split and twist
Split both the blue hair and the pigtail in half, holding the blue with the regular hair in 2 sections.
Then twist each bunch of hair.
3. Twist again
Next, twist the 2 twisted parts around each other.
4. Make a bun
Then, twist the entire twisted pigtail around itself, holding it down at the roots, to create a bun. Secure with a hair elastic.
5. Repeat for the other side
Complete the same process to create the second bun.
6. Bedazzle
Add the final touch by applying gems or pearls randomly, in front of the buns, using a hair gem stamper.
