In this styling tutorial, I'm going to show you five red Christmas outfits for the festive season. Red is such a powerful color that I love to wear all year round, and for me, it is the “it” color for Christmas and the holidays. I have some gorgeous red Christmas outfits to show you, so let’s jump on in!
5 Cute Red Christmas Outfits That Make a Bold Holiday Statement
1. Red coat
First up, we have a gorgeous bright red coat that is perfect for the holidays and really makes this outfit. I paired it with a pair of faux leather leggings that always look great for any dress-up occasion, and then for a fun accessory, I added a beret covered in sequins.
I absolutely love the way this hat shines and sparkles when I go outside to travel from house to house, party to party. Also, the shoes are a little festive as they have a nice little bow on the side, and to finish the look off, I added a pop of print with a leopard purse.
2. Sparkly red pantsuit
Look number two is my absolute favorite holiday outfit. Here, I’m wearing a red sequin set that I’ve gotten so many nice comments about. It’s so festive, it’s so bright, it’s so out there, I love it!
I also love that the two pieces can be worn separately because if you don’t want to wear red from head to toe, you can just mix and match.
For example, you could wear the red blazer with a skirt and some jeans. Or vice versa, you could get the red pants and pair them with a plain sweater.
I paired the red suit with a black top because this look is so out there I didn’t want to add any extra accessories or color.
3. Pop of red
The next outfit is much more subtle and casual in contrast to the look we just had. I paired some black jeans with a white top with a tie-up detail in the front that gives it some personality.
To add my pop of red, I added a pair of red pumps, a red shoulder bag, and, let’s not forget, some red lipstick. I feel like these little touches of red are understated yet powerful and make a nice holiday outfit.
You could also paint your nails red to bring in another low-key little element if you wanted to.
4. Flowy red pants
Moving on to the next look, I paired some red flared pants with a gray turtleneck. The pants are high waisted and I love how they go together with that gray.
Then, I added a faux fur vest that is super long. It’s fuzzy, white, and great for a holiday look. A pair of black shoes, a black clutch, and some long dangly earrings finish off the outfit.
5. Red, white, and gold
This last look is a bit more shiny and shimmery. I paired a red chiffon top with a gold pleated skirt, and I added some more shimmer with gold hosiery. I have on some plain black pumps and a black pea coat.
I love the pairing of red and gold, it looks really elevated, and the colors create a feeling of excitement.
