Outfit Ideas For Your Next Vacation

Trying to decide what to wear while traveling can be overwhelming. Today I’m sharing some outfit ideas for your next vacation, and everything is from Belk. These are outfits that are casual, but not your average wear around the house kind of outfits.

Whether you are sightseeing, shopping, dining out, or visiting with friends I think you will get some good inspiration from these outfits. Don’t have any travel plans? That’s okay. These outfits are practical for doing things around your hometown as well.

For some reason, I have gotten away from shopping at Belk over the past year or so. Recently I have rediscovered some of their brands, and I like what I’m seeing for spring and summer. They have a new line called Wonderly that has replaced their New Directions line in the women’s department. I’ve tried a few pieces and I like them. Of course, Crown & Ivy is a favorite of mine for spring and summer looks, and I have some of those to share with you today as well.

Smocked Floral Top + Ruffle Hem Shorts

A pretty feminine blouse with white shorts is always a good outfit formula for vacation. The shorts can be paired with many different tops, which helps minimize the number of pieces you need to pack.

The smocked floral top is by Crown & Ivy. I love the colors and feminine style of this top. I’m wearing a size medium and the fit is good. There is a tie in the back that is covered by my hair, but it helps ensure that the top does not slide off the shoulders.

These white shorts are a pull on style with a drawstring in a linen blend fabric. I’m also wearing them in a size medium. They are a nice length, even on my taller frame. You could go in many directions with shoes for this outfit. I chose my braided slides in a pinky nude color.

Eyelet Lace Top + White Ruffle Hem Shorts

The next outfit is another travel friendly outfit. The navy and white pair so well together, but this eyelet lace top comes in other colors in addition to this classic navy. I’m wearing a medium in this top and I really like that it comes with a solid navy cami underneath.

I went with a heeled sandal again, but you could switch those out for some flats for a day of walking or sightseeing.

Ruffle Trim White Top + White Shorts

Here is one more way to wear the same white shorts. A monochromatic look in all white with nude wedges. This top is by Cupio, but I could not find in on Belk.com. This top by Crown & Ivy is very similar.

My Kate Spade bag is from the Kate Spade outlet. This bag is similar. Also, my wedge sandals are the top selling shoes by Time and Tru.

White Top + Cargo Joggers

These pull on cargo joggers in this brilliant teal color are the perfect travel pants. They can be worn for a hike, on an airplane, in the car, or you can dress them up a bit as I have done here. I’m wearing the same white eyelet top, and changed to a flat sandal.

Here are the same pants styled in a more casual way. I’m enjoying this knit top from Kohl’s to wear with joggers and lounge pants. I purchased them in several colors. They are slightly cropped, but long enough to cover the skin. This eliminates the need for tucking in a shirt. I sized up to an XL to make sure it was long enough, and because this is a junior brand.

If you have been following along for a while, you have seen this straw hat more times than I can count! I’ve pulled it out again this year and it remains my favorite. My black slides are from Walmart (last year), but I will link this year’s version.

Linen Square Neck Top + Cargo Pants

The last outfit idea for your next vacation is this linen square neck top paired with the softest cargo pants. This outfit is by the brand Wonderly that I mentioned earlier. This is another combination that could be a multitasker when traveling.

I love the print and the soft muted tones of this top. I’m wearing a medium in both the top and and pants.

I found the pants to run a bit small. There is elastic in the back, but these were really tight on me through the hips. I’m not sure if a large would have fit, but these didn’t work for me. What I really loved about them was the texture…the fabric is thin and very soft which is unexpected for a cargo style pant.

Accessories:

Rattan earrings are a very on trend accessory that work perfect for spring and summer travel. They are very lightweight and inexpensive. You can purchase them in sets on Amazon for under $20!

I recently purchased these cute silicone Apple Watch bands. These are also compact and easy to take along on vacation.
