Could Pink Be the Signature Spring Color This Year?

With each new season it feels like there is a certain color palette that emerges when all the new season's fashion comes out. Over the Winter it was neutrals and a lot of purple, but Spring has me seeing pink everywhere and I have to say I don't hate it! The type of pinks I have been seeing are soft and pastel pinks. Here are few pink options to get you excited for this Spring!

Another trend I am seeing everywhere is ruffles! Not over the top, gaudy ruffles, but more slight detailed ruffles that add a cute touch to every top. The lightweight sweater I'm wearing here has some ruffle detail on the sleeves and the soft pink color mixed with it make the cutest top for the Spring transition.

Last year's Spring and Summer trends were all about the tye-dye and I've noticed so far that tye-dye is still in but it is much more toned down almost in the sense of an ombre coloring. The shirt I'm wearing here has a very slight ombre hue to it. I love a light button shirt for a transition from one season to another.

It's still so cold outside and we are seeing some of the coldest temperatures yet in Upstate NY so sweaters are still required but no said they had to be dark colors! The pattern on this sweater is so fun and truly makes me feel so warm and optimistic that Spring is on it's way!
