How to Style Lilac This Winter

To begin I styled this chunky lilac turtleneck from H&M with the faux leather Melina Pants from Aritzia. The turtleneck is such a good find this season as it is quite affordable, super warm, and not itchy at all. Also, the Melina Pants went viral on TikTok for good reason, definitely check them out if you are looking for a high quality pair of faux leather pants. I really like the look of leather and yarn together and think it makes for a chic winter outfit. I paired this particular outfit with a pair of short boots and a jacket to stay warmer when going out.

For this look I paired an oversized knit top with a matching blazer coat in the same shade of lilac. On the bottom half you could easily play around with a skirt, leather pants, leggings, or denim. I chose to go with classic denim for a streetstyle inspired vibe. The blazer coat came with a belt around the waistline, but I preferred this look with it removed. The great thing about belted coats is that you can swap belts from different styles to create a customized and unique look. Finally, I added a pair of black sunglasses to add a bit of edge to the overall outfit and really liked how this styling turned out.

This last example is so simple, just a sweater with denim. However, this lilac sweater has a touch of extra detail and shine thanks to the stitched on pearls. Small details can make an outfit stand out in a big way. For a sweater like this I would recommend not adding too many accessories or layering to keep it as the main focal point of your outfit.
