Cute Way to Add Design to the TOP of Your Head
Lots of styles look great from the back but not so interesting from the front.
This style is a great way to add a design to the top of your head. Part it carefully and use lots of wax on the front sections only.
Tools and materials:
- Tail comb
- Hair ties
- Hair wax
1. Sectioning
Part your hair down the center from hairline to crown.
Section off the hair behind your ears on both sides and clip it out of the way.
Do the same with the top center section of your hair.
Divide your hair vertically above your ear.
2. Wax
If your hair is very thick or curly, apply wax to each section as you work on it.
3. Tie off
Secure both side sections on each side with hair ties close to your head.
Divide the top section into four squares. Wax and tie them off with hair ties.
Tie the front side ponytail into the top back section, and the top front section into the bottom side hair on each side of the center part.
Secure close to your head so you have two ponytails on each side.
4. Back section
Gather all four tails together with the back section. Secure them into a high ponytail with a strong hair tie and fan out the ends.

Decorate your hair to your own taste. The combination of sleek front and curly back gives so much interest and depth to the style.
