Hack for Steaming Delicate Fabric
I am going to show you guys an amazing hack for steaming delicate fabrics.
When you steam, do you get wet spots? Steamers can spit water which causes delicate fabrics like silk to pucker up.
Tools and materials:
- Delicate clothes
- Steamer
- Sock
Those wet spots can even dry with a stain. Stylists have a trick to solve that problem. They just put a sock on it.
1. Put a sock on it
Grab a clean sock and place it over the head of your steamer.
This works on both travel and full-sized steamers.
2. Steam as normal
When you start steaming the sock will catch any water that gets spit out of the steamer. This will ensure your clothes stay protected while being steamed.
