1. Remove the laces and insoles
I recommend removing the laces and insoles from your shoes to make cleaning them easier.
2. Take a toothbrush and some toothpaste
Next, grab a wet old toothbrush and some whitening toothpaste and give your shoes a really good scrub.
After a few moments, the toothpaste should start to lather nicely.
3. Toss your shoes into the washing machine
Check your shoes’ label to see if they’re washing machine safe.
If so, you can go ahead and toss them into the machine. I put mine in a bag for delicates for extra protection.
4. Dry
I then stuff my shoes with newspaper to help them retain their shape, then leave them to air dry overnight or throughout the day.
