Make a Mermaid Tail
I took a regular blanket and turned it into an easy custom Mermaid Tail. This is adjustable for any size person. You can see more of my crazy creations here
Here's the original blanket I purchased from Walmart. You can find a variety of colors here
I folded the blanket in half and cut a curved line at the bottom. The curved portion will become the tail. I sewed the curve and across the small end on the bottom. (you could use a hot glue gun for speed).
I sewed the curve together.
I then opened the curved part to create the tail.
I sewed the tail to the bottom small part of the blanket.
Slide your feet in, wrap the upper part of the blanket around your body, and you have your own mermaid tail.
