- 1 hair tie
1. Make a half ponytail
Tie your hair in a regular, half ponytail and secure it with a hair tie.
2. Turn it into a topsy tail
Next, use your fingers to make a small opening just above the hair tie.
Then, flip the tail up and into the hole to make a topsy tail.
3. Turn the topsy tail into a bun
Now, push the top part of the tail back under to create a loop bun.
Then, pull the sides out to add volume.
