I’m going to show you how to use glue to make matching accessories for all your future DIYs. Let’s get started.

Tools and materials:

  • Wax paper
  • Hot glue gun
  • Marker
  • Spray paint
Heart shapes

1. Draw out your shapes on wax paper

Trace out whatever shape you want your accessory to be in on wax paper. I drew out a bunch of hearts in different sizes.

Adding glue

2. Glue

Fill in each of the shapes entirely with glue.

3. Cool the pieces

Let the glued shapes cool and harden, then remove them from the paper.

Spray painting

4. Spray paint them

Spray paint the glued accessories into the color you want. I’m using gold spray paint.

Gold hearts

Here they are when they’re done! Now, you can add these fun little accessories to any DIY you want.

Adding hearts to belt

One way to use them is to glue them to a belt for a flashy look like this one.

DIY gold heart choker

Another example is to hook one to a choker. Pair the two looks together and you’ve got a cool and completely unique matching ensemble.
