6 Ways to Style a Button Down Camp Shirt

A button down shirt is one of the most versatile pieces you can have in your wardrobe. I styled this pink, striped, button down camp shirt 6 ways; but could have easily styled it 10 more ways! One of the most straight forward ways it can be styled is buttoned and front or fully tucked into shorts, a skirt, or pants. I love that it can also be styled under a shirt or sweatshirt with the collar peaking out the top. Another easy way to wear a button down is by leaving it unbuttoned and opened over a shirt, creating a layer similar to a jacket. I love that button downs also have the ability to be tied at the bottom. It can either stay unbuttoned and tied into a knot or you can leave it buttoned and just unbutton the bottom buttons to tie it into a knot. The last way I have styled this button down camp shirt is by putting it over a dress and leaving it buttoned and then tucking it into a belt to creat a shirt and skirt look. There are so many possibilities with a top like this in your wardrobe
Buttoned and fully tucked with tie waist shorts and sandals.
Buttoned and front tucked with a pair of joggers and platform slides.
Under a sweatshirt, tucked into jeans with sneakers.
Unbuttoned and opened over a tank with shorts and mules.
Unbuttoned and tied in a knot over a dress with wedges.
Buttoned and over a dress, tucked into a belt with slide on sandals.
