Perfect Sparkly Hairstyle for the Holidays
This elegant, half-up hairstyle packs in all the holiday sparkle and doesn’t require any expert styling skills!
If you’re a beginner, try out this perfect sparkly hairstyle for the holidays!
Tools and materials:
- Claw clip
- Clear hair elastics
- Bobby pins
- A few thin sparkly chains
1. Attach the sparkly chains
Divide the top section of hair that you would put in a half ponytail and clip it up temporarily with a claw clip.
Attach 2 sparkly chains on each side with a bobby pin.
2. Add 3 more chains on a new layer
Let down some of the top section of hair, on top of the glitter chains, then clip up about half of the section.
Next, attach 2 more chains on either side and 1 in the center.
3. Make a small topsy tail
Let down the clipped hair. Then make a small ponytail with a clear hair elastic.
Then make a gap above the elastic and tuck the tail in to make a topsy tail.
4. Weave the sparkle chain into the topsy tail
On 1 side, grab the closest sparkle ribbon and weave it over the closer strand of the topsy tail.
Repeat on the other side of the topsy tail.
5. Make a 2nd topsy tail and weave in the chains
Gather a small amount of hair below the first topsy tail, on either side.
Secure a new ponytail with this hair, just below the 1st topsy tail.
Make a 2nd topsy tail with this 2nd ponytail and weave in the closest chains on each side.
The middle chain will just hang.
